Mobiquity is very proud to announce that we are officially part of the team that represents the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology at the Dutch Hacking Health event on 19-21 of May in Utrecht!
During the hackathon we will join forces with the team with members from the Princess Máxima Center and CGI - IT and business process service provider. The focus will be on how to provide children with cancer and their parents status updates of their chemotherapy appointment, whilst managing expectations in case an appointment is postponed because of the child’s condition. The solution should be easy to use, and also notify children and their family of the actual appointment time and date as well as the likelihood of it taking place on schedule.
The Princess Maxima Center is in the lead as product owner, bringing healthcare insights and needs, and therefore validating user stories. CGI will focus on back-end solutions. Our Mobiquity team members will design and build the front-end for a web based mobile application.
“We deal with some very serious matters, but we want to design something that is supportive and easy to use for children,” says Teun Schutte, Healthcare Managing Consultant and one of the Mobiquity team members at the hackathon. “It will be very interesting to see how that works out when we actually get started.”
