Digital Consultancy Elevates Industry Veterans and Longtime Executives to Lead Global Company’s Continued Growth
WALTHAM, MA – February 5, 2021 – Mobiquity, a digital consultancy that designs and delivers compelling digital products and services for the world's leading brands, today announced the promotion of executive team members Andy Norman, currently President of Mobiquity’s U.S. business, and Paul Piebinga, currently President of Mobiquity’s European business, to global co-president roles effective immediately. The elevation of the executives comes as John Castleman, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of the growing digital consultancy for the past four and a half years, has decided to retire from his role as Mobiquity CEO and will engage in non-profit board roles.
During his tenure, Castleman led Mobiquity’s evolution to specialization in all elements of the digital experience from strategy to design and build. He stewarded Mobiquity's acquisition by Hexaware in 2019 and helped to double the size of the business during his time at the helm. Castleman will stay on providing guidance during the transition. Norman and Piebinga will continue to run Mobiquity through their established regions and work together toward achieving the company’s set of global goals.
“We are grateful to the leadership that John provided to our team as we grew from a mobile-centric consultancy to a digital transformation enabler and we are excited for the next chapter in our company’s journey,” said Norman. “We are proud of the work we’ve done in preparing and helping our clients navigate the increasingly complex digital landscape, especially in light of the pandemic, and look forward to bringing industry-leading disruptive technology to more companies.”
“From banking to insurance, healthcare to retail and restaurants, we see tremendous opportunity for brands to evolve their approaches and disrupt from a digital perspective. We want to partner with companies to help transform the approach they take to win in this rapidly changing environment,” said Piebinga. “With Andy, and in conjunction with our entire team of innovative, client-first minds, we seek to strengthen our partnerships with our valued clients and further the reach and success of Mobiquity.”
John Castleman further commented, “This feels like the right time to step away as Mobiquity has grown into an incredible company with an amazing team of professionals. I am excited about Mobiquity’s prospects for continued growth and I anticipate many great things to come in the years ahead. The future is in excellent hands with Andy and Paul.”
